Company History

May, 1954:
Established Ohmatsu Denki Co., Ltd. at 2596, Kamimeguro 5-chome, Meguro City, Tokyo.
January, 1959:
Established Ohmatsu Seiko Co., Ltd. spin off from the machinery division of the company.
August, 1960:
Purchased the land at the current place of Kohoku-ku, Yokohama City due to the business expansion by the development of new products and completed the first phase of construction and moved to this site.
November, 1963:
Established Osaka Sales Office.
February, 1964:
Completion of the second phase of construction of Head Office Building.
May, 1966:
Unified the name to LEADR ELECTRONICS CORPORATION.
August, 1969:
Completion of Osaka Sales Office Building at 7-9, Kitahorie 2-chome and moved there.
Septmber,1969:
Established LEADER INSTRUMENTS CORP. as an overseas affiliated company in New York.
October, 1969:
Established Northern Kanto Sales Office.
November,1969:
Established Nagoya Sales Office.
January, 1971:
Established Sendai Sales Office.
June, 1972:
Established Fukuoka Sales Office.
November, 1976:
Received Letter of Goodwill from Kanagawa Taxation Office as a good tax declaration company.
October, 1977:
Completion of Northern Kanto Sales Office Building at 31-12, Ekiminami-cho 4-chome, Oyama City, Tochigi Pref. and moved there.
October, 1977:
Closed Nagoya Sales Office and established Tokai Sales Office at 164, Barajima-cho, Hamamatsu City.
September, 1979:
Completion of LEADER INSTRUMENTS CORP. N.Y. Building.
July, 1980:
Established LEADER INSTRUMENTS (H.K.) LTD. as an overseas affiliated company in Hong Kong.
June, 1981:
Received a Letter of Goodwill from Kanagawa Taxation Office as a good tax declaration company.
August, 1981:
Completion of Sendai Sales Office at 1-67, Tsurushiro-machi, Wakabayashi-ku, Sendai City and moved there.
December, 1983:
Completion of Tokai Sales Office at 309-2, Nishizuka-cho, Hamamatsu City and moved there.
May, 1984:
Completion of Fukuoka Sales Office at 10-26, Shiobara 3-chome Fukuoka City and moved there.
March, 1986:
Built Tsunashima Factory anew at 10-35, Tsunashima-higashi 5-chome, Kohoku-ku, Yokoyama City and moved a part of production division over there.
June, 1986:
Received a Letter of Goodwill from Kanagawa Taxation Sales Office as a good tax declaration company.
November, 1986:
Built Head Office Main Building anew and moved departments of technology and administration there.
May, 1987:
Changed the company name of Ohmatsu Seiko Co., Ltd. to OM Metal Co., Ltd.
August, 1987:
Completion of Los Angels Office of an overseas affiliated company in America.
April, 1988:
Established a resident office in England.
April,1989:
Merged OM Metal Co., Ltd. an affiliated company, (started as a department).
December, 1989:
Established LEADER INSTRUMENTS (EUROPE) LTD. as an overseas affiliated company in England.
March, 1990:
Issued corporate debentures.
May, 1990:
Established Hokuriku Sales Office at 4-21, Takaoka-cho, Kanazawa City.
November, 1990:
Established Singapore Resident Office in Singapore.
November, 1991:
Started stock exchange as Japan Securities Dealers Association Quotation System.
April, 1992:
Established Kanetsu Sales Office at 515-1, Kamikawakami, Kumagaya City, Saitama Pref.
April,1992:
Established Koshin Sales Office at 3-28, Shiraita 2-chome, Matsumoto City, Nagano Pref.
July, 1994:
Established LEADER INSTRUMENTS ASIA PTE., LTD. in Singapore.
December, 1994:
Certified according to ISO9002 by International Standardization Organization.
April, 1995:
Closed Tokai Sales Office and set up Chubu Sales Office at 702, Toyogaoka, Meito-ku, Nagoya City.
April, 1996:
Moved Head Office Factory to 11-28, Tsunashima-higashi 6-chome, Kohoku-ku, Yokohama City.
March, 1998:
Certified according to upgraded ISO9001 by International Standardization Organization.
April, 1998:
Closed Koshin Sales Office and merged into Chubu Sales Office.
August, 1999:
Closed Kitakanto Sales Office and merged into Sales Department of Head Office.
August, 1999:
Moved Kanetsu Sales Office to 219-102, Hakota, Kumagaya City, Saitama Pref.
October, 1999:
Liquidated LEADER INSTRUMENTS (EUROPE) LTD. in Europe.
November, 2000:
Moved Kansai Sales Office to 4-1, Hiroshiba-cho, Suita City, Osaka Pref.
March, 2001:
Moved Kanetsu Sales Office to 136, Honcho 2-chome, Kumagaya City, Saitama Pref.
March, 2002:
Liquidated LEADER INSTRUMENTS ASIA PTE., LTD. in Singapore.

Established Beijing Resident Office in Beijing in China.

Established Dong Guan Resident Office of LEADER INSTRUMENTS (HK) LTD., in Dong Guan in China.

Closed Kyusyu Sales Office and merged into Kansai Sales Office.

October, 2004:
Established Shanghai Resident Office in Shanghai, China.

Cancelled the OTC registration of Japan Securities Dealers Association Quotation System and Listed in Jasdaq Securities Exchange

Renewed Head Office Building and merged Research Facility into the head office.
