IP packet monitoring device LVB440 audio functionality added

Leader Electronics (President:Kozo Nagao) has added Dolby Atmos audio functionality to its LVB440 IP packet monitoring system. The reason for the addition of this function is that Dolby Atmos is attracting attention worldwide for its use in cinema and other stereoscopic audio technologies.

The new functions are as follows.

• Dolby E, Dolby ED2 and Dolby Digital Plus decoding using Dolby Atmos.
• Phase relationship between Dolby E/ED2 and video frames, indicating if audio data may be corrupted during video switching.
• Support for rendering object based audio in user configurable stereo or 5.1 speaker configurations.
• Object visualiser for Dolby ED2 and Dolby Digital Plus.
